Qasr

A palace doorway in maroon and antique gold, the arch opening above the couple's names.

Qasr means palace, and the card is drawn as a facade. Five cusped arches form an arcade — two narrow ones at each flank, a wide portal at the centre — with star jaali behind and kalash urns standing sentry at the base. The maroon ground sits warmer than burgundy, closer to the deep reds used on traditional printed barat cards. Choose Qasr when the guest list is large and the invitation needs to carry the weight of the day the whole family arrives at once.
